JobSearchCoaching.net Referral Partner Program

Help the Candidates You Can't Place Today — Without Giving Up the Relationship. Help Job Seekers, Strengthen Your Professional Relationships, and Create an Additional Revenue Stream.

Recruiters, executive search consultants, HR professionals, career coaches, outplacement professionals and business advisors encounter talented professionals every day. But you can't personally help everyone. Our new Referral Partner Program gives independent recruiters and small recruiting firms another way to help those candidates without giving up the relationship and an opportunity to earn meaningful referral compensation.

If you’re a recruiter, executive search consultant, career coach, HR professional, outplacement professional, or business advisor, you probably encounter talented professionals every week whom you would genuinely like to help.

But you can’t personally help everyone. For recruiters, the situation is particularly common.

You meet an outstanding executive or senior-level professional. They have the experience, leadership background, and qualifications employers want.

There’s just one problem: You don’t have the right search assignment for them right now.

Why Become a JobSearchCoaching.net Referral Partner? You probably already encounter people who could benefit from this type of assistance. The JobSearchCoaching.net Referral Partner Program gives you another professional resource to offer those individuals while potentially creating additional revenue for you or your business.

For recruiters in particular, the program is designed to solve a common problem:

What Happens to the Great Candidates You Can't Place Right Now?

Not every qualified candidate matches one of your current searches. You may have an excellent relationship with an executive who is highly marketable, but if you do not currently have the right client assignment, there may be little you can do for that individual at that moment. Instead of allowing that relationship to go dormant, you can introduce the candidate to JobSearchCoaching.net.

We can potentially help them continue moving their search forward while you maintain your recruiting relationship with them.

Five Reasons Recruiters May Benefit From Joining or Partner Referral Program

1. Help Candidates You Can't Place Today

You don't need to have an open search for every strong candidate you meet. When you encounter a qualified executive or senior-level professional who doesn't currently match one of your assignments, JobSearchCoaching.net can become another resource you can offer. Instead of simply saying, "I'll keep you in mind," you can provide the candidate with a potential next step.

2. Keep Your Candidate Relationship

Referring someone to JobSearchCoaching.net does not mean giving up the candidate.

You remain free to:

  • Continue communicating with the candidate
  • Represent the candidate
  • Submit the candidate to employers
  • Introduce the candidate to hiring organizations
  • Recruit the candidate for future searches
  • Place the candidate at any time

If you refer someone to us today and receive the perfect search assignment for that individual three months later, you are still free to represent and place them. Your candidate relationship remains intact.

Our goal is to complement that relationship, not interfere with it.

3. Receive Potential Candidate Referrals From Us

We don't want this to be a one-way relationship. JobSearchCoaching.net continually works with senior-level professionals across industries, functions and geographic markets. As we learn more about our clients' backgrounds, capabilities, target positions and career objectives, we may encounter professionals who could be relevant to searches being conducted by our recruiter Referral Partners. When appropriate, we'd like to make those introductions.

The Relationship Can Work Both Ways.

You → JobSearchCoaching.net

Refer qualified professionals you would like to help but cannot immediately place.

JobSearchCoaching.net → You

When we encounter qualified professionals who may align with the types of searches you conduct, we may introduce them to you. Approved recruiter partners can become part of a professional network we may draw upon when a client's background and objectives align with a recruiter's area of specialization. There is no guarantee that any particular Referral Partner will receive candidate introductions, but our objective is to create relationships that can generate value in both directions.

4. Create an Additional Revenue Stream

  • Approved Referral Partners receive referral compensation when Qualified Referrals become JobSearchCoaching.net clients and when applicable Success Fees are subsequently received.

10% of the Initial Client Fee

  • We pay 10% of the initial fee actually received by JobSearchCoaching.net from an accepted referred client.
  • Based on our current typical fee structure, this will often represent approximately:

$100 PLUS 10% of Our Success Fee

  • When that referred client secures a new position and JobSearchCoaching.net receives the applicable Success Fee, the Referral Partner receives:

10% of the Success Fee We Receive

  • Based on our current typical fee structure, this will often represent approximately: $1,500–$2,500

Typical Total Referral Partner Compensation:

  • Approximately $1,600–$2,600 Per Successful Referral
  • Actual compensation is based upon the fees actually received by JobSearchCoaching.net and is subject to the Referral Partner Agreement.
  • There is no contractual limit on the number of Qualified Referrals an approved Referral Partner may submit or on the aggregate referral compensation that may be earned.

5. Strengthen Your Reputation With Candidates

A recruiter does not have to place someone immediately to provide value. Sometimes the most memorable professional relationships are created when you help someone even when there is no immediate financial benefit to you. By introducing a candidate to another resource that may help them move their search forward, you reinforce your position as a trusted advisor rather than simply someone who contacts them when there is an open requisition. That can help strengthen the relationship for future searches, referrals and placements.

Recruiters: We Complement What You Do

Recruiters primarily represent employers.

JobSearchCoaching.net Represents the Job Seeker.

Those are fundamentally different roles. Recruiters are generally retained or engaged by employers to identify and attract candidates for specific opportunities. JobSearchCoaching.net is engaged by job seekers to help manage and execute their broader job search.

We are not a recruiting firm competing with you for employer search assignments.

We are not asking you to redirect candidates away from searches or opportunities you are actively working on.

The Referral Partner Program is designed primarily for the qualified professionals you encounter who:

  • Don't currently match one of your assignments
  • Are between searches
  • Need broader exposure to the market
  • Need more comprehensive job-search support
  • Are struggling to gain traction
  • Don't have the time to manage a full-scale search themselves
  • Could benefit from support in addition to their existing recruiter relationships

This Is Not About Giving Us Your Candidates

It Is About Adding Another Resource for the Candidates You Can't Help Right Now.

That distinction is important. We are not asking recruiters to "turn over" candidates to JobSearchCoaching.net. We are asking whether there are situations where you encounter a strong professional and think:

"I don't have the right opportunity for this person right now, but I'd still like to help them."

That is where our program can make sense. You make the introduction. We can explain our services directly to the individual and determine whether there is a fit.

You remain free to continue your recruiting relationship throughout the process.

Your Referral Does Not End Your Recruiting Relationship. Our Full Job Search Management services may include outreach to employers, recruiters and other sources of potential opportunities as part of the client's broader search. That does not eliminate or restrict your original relationship with the candidate.

You may continue to:

  • Contact the candidate
  • Present opportunities
  • Represent the candidate
  • Submit the candidate
  • Place the candidate

Our job is to help the individual conduct a comprehensive search.

Your Job as a Recruiter Remains Your Job.

The two can coexist. We Make Referring Easy

You do not need to:

  • Coach the candidate
  • Explain our entire service offering
  • Sell JobSearchCoaching.net
  • Manage their follow-up
  • Participate in their job search
  • Track their activity with us

Make the introduction. We'll take it from there.

Once a Qualified Referral is accepted, our team handles the consultation, qualification, onboarding and ongoing client relationship.

  • No Quotas. No Minimum Referral Requirement.
  • You are not required to refer a minimum number of candidates.
  • There is no requirement to produce a certain amount of revenue.
  • There is no expectation that you refer everyone you meet.

Refer someone when you genuinely believe our services may help them.

At the same time, there is no contractual maximum on the number of Qualified Referrals an approved Referral Partner may submit.

Non-Exclusive Relationship

The JobSearchCoaching.net Referral Partner Program is non-exclusive.

You Remain Free to Work With Other:

  • Recruiting firms
  • Career-services organizations
  • Coaches
  • Outplacement firms
  • Resume and LinkedIn professionals
  • Job-search companies
  • Professional advisors

We are interested in developing useful professional relationships, not restricting them.

What Happens If a Referred Candidate Does Not Become a Client?

Nothing.

  • There is no obligation for a referred individual to become a JobSearchCoaching.net client.
  • There is no cost or penalty to the Referral Partner if the individual decides not to proceed.
  • Referral compensation is earned only when the applicable conditions in the Referral Partner Agreement are satisfied.
  • Referral Compensation and Payment Timing
  • Referral compensation is based on amounts actually received and cleared by JobSearchCoaching.net.

Initial Referral Payment

  • The Referral Partner receives 10% of the initial client fee actually received by JobSearchCoaching.net.

Success Referral Payment

  • The Referral Partner receives 10% of the applicable Success Fee actually received by JobSearchCoaching.net after the referred client secures a new position.
  • No Referral Partner Fee becomes due until the corresponding client payment has actually been received and cleared.

First Qualified Referral Protection

  • We want Referral Partners to know that their legitimate introductions are protected.

The first approved Referral Partner to submit a prospective client who was not previously referred to or actively engaged with JobSearchCoaching.net will receive referral ownership for: 12 Months From the Date the Referral Is Accepted

This provides the Referral Partner with a clearly defined referral-protection period. If more than one Referral Partner submits the same individual, referral ownership belongs to the Referral Partner whose Qualified Referral is first accepted by JobSearchCoaching.net, subject to the Referral Partner Agreement.

What Is a Qualified Referral?

A Qualified Referral is a prospective client personally introduced or referred to JobSearchCoaching.net by an approved Referral Partner, with sufficient information for JobSearchCoaching.net to identify and contact the individual, and who has not previously been referred to JobSearchCoaching.net by another Referral Partner.

There is an important distinction between a referral being submitted and being accepted.

Submitted Referral

A Submitted Referral is a prospective client whose information has been provided to JobSearchCoaching.net for consideration.

Accepted Referral

An Accepted Referral is a Submitted Referral that JobSearchCoaching.net has reviewed and confirmed as meeting the requirements for a Qualified Referral. Simply providing someone's name, LinkedIn profile or contact information does not automatically establish referral ownership.

How the Referral Partner Program Works

Step 1 — Complete the Referral Partner Questionnaire

Tell us about yourself, your organization, professional background, network, the types of individuals you may refer and, for recruiters, the types of candidates and searches you typically work with.

Step 2 — Internal Review

Our team reviews your questionnaire to determine whether there appears to be a good mutual fit.

Step 3 — Invitation to a Qualifying Call

When appropriate, selected applicants will be invited to a qualifying conversation with JobSearchCoaching.net. Completing the questionnaire does not automatically constitute acceptance into the Referral Partner Program.

Step 4 — Approval

If both parties determine there is a good fit, JobSearchCoaching.net may approve the relationship.

Step 5 — Referral Partner Agreement

Approved partners review and execute the JobSearchCoaching.net Referral Partner Agreement.

Step 6 — Receive Your Personalized Referral Method

You will receive instructions and/or a personalized referral link or method that allows Qualified Referrals to be properly attributed to you.

Step 7 — Receive Marketing Resources

Approved Referral Partners may receive program information and marketing resources that can help them explain JobSearchCoaching.net and our services to potential referrals.

Step 8 — Begin Referring

When you encounter someone who may benefit from our services, make the introduction. We'll take it from there.

  • You May Earn Meaningful Referral Compensation.

And together, we may be able to help more professionals advance their careers.

Interested in Becoming a JobSearchCoaching.net Referral Partner?

If you regularly encounter executives, senior-level professionals or other job seekers who may benefit from more comprehensive job-search support, we'd like to learn more about you.
