Services - Outplacement and Career Transition

High-touch, fully managed, small business services for outplacement and career transition

What Are These Outplacement and Career Transition Services and How Do They Work?

What Participants in Our Programs Receive

JobSearchCoaching.net provides a structured and personalized career transition process that combines expert guidance with practical, hands-on job search execution. Rather than offering generic resources and expecting participants to figure out the process on their own, we deliver a clear roadmap and individualized support designed to help each participant regain confidence, build momentum, and secure new employment faster. Our services are built around the same end-to-end job search management methodology that has helped hundreds of professionals and senior leaders generate thousands of interviews and successfully transition into new roles.

Career Transition Consultation and Strategic Planning

Each engagement begins with a one-on-one career transition consultation to assess the participant’s experience, accomplishments, target roles, compensation objectives, and career priorities. This initial planning session helps reduce uncertainty and emotional stress by giving participants immediate direction and a practical action plan. We work with everyone to define a realistic target, clarify how they will position themselves in the market, and identify the most effective strategy for achieving their next career objective.

Branding and Market Positioning

A strong job search foundation begins with effective positioning. We develop (not help develop) professional resumes, optimize their LinkedIn profiles, and refine the messaging that communicates their value to recruiters and hiring managers. This process ensures they present themselves with clarity, confidence, and credibility. By strengthening their market positioning, participants improve their visibility and increase their likelihood of being discovered for relevant opportunities.

Job Search Infrastructure and Opportunity Generation

We build the operational infrastructure behind a successful job search. This may include resumes, cover letters, job board setup and optimization, targeted job alerts, saved searches, target company lists, and networking and outreach strategies. These systems help participants focus their efforts on the right opportunities rather than relying on scattered and inconsistent applications. The result is a more organized, disciplined, and effective search process.

Interview Preparation and Offer Negotiation Support

Securing interviews is only part of the transition process. We provide structured interview preparation to help participants articulate their experience, explain their transition confidently, and answer difficult questions with clarity and professionalism. We also offer salary and negotiation support so participants can evaluate opportunities thoughtfully and maximize compensation and overall fit.

Ongoing Accountability and Practical Support

One of the most valuable aspects of our program is ongoing accountability and practical support. Participants receive regular guidance, progress reviews, and actionable recommendations to keep their search moving forward. This structure helps maintain focus, momentum, and confidence during what can otherwise be an overwhelming process. Support is personalized to the participants’ needs and aligned with the level of service selected.

Additional Hands-On, Higher Touch Support Through Managed Search

For participants enrolled in our Managed Job Search Transition program, we provide a higher-touch level of support that goes well beyond traditional outplacement. In addition to strategy and coaching, resume and LinkedIn creation, we offer full hands-on management physically researching and applying to open positions, recruiter and company outreach, follow-up strategy, and pipeline tracking. Most outplacement firms provide advice; we fully manage and execute participants job search. This practical, execution-oriented model is designed to accelerate momentum and improve the likelihood of securing interviews and offers more quickly.

Define Best-Fit Participant Profiles

Our variety of service tiers are designed to provide flexible support aligned to employee level, career complexity, and budget. Not every transitioning employee requires the same level of assistance.
